Parents’ questions
Before the season starts
My child has never been karting. Can they sign up?
Yes, from age 7. Their group is chosen after a trial on the track with the instructor, based on their age and confidence.
When and how do I register?
On 1 April for returning pupils, on 1 May for everyone, by appointment only at the circuit. Places are limited.
What happens if my child misses lessons?
An absence of less than one month is not refunded. Beyond that, and with a medical certificate, missed lessons can be made up with a training course.
Do we need our own equipment?
Yes: helmet, gloves, rib protector and neck brace are compulsory. You can order them at the circuit, and the balaclava is free.
What if it rains?
We drive: it’s actually a great exercise. The time slot may be adjusted depending on the weather: we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
